Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the NotesIQ Chrome extension and its Lifetime and AI Pro offerings. By installing or using NotesIQ, you agree to them. NotesIQ is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Substack.

1. License

A Lifetime purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, perpetual license to use NotesIQ's analytics and scheduling features, including future updates to those features. It is licensed per person, not resold or shared across accounts.

2. AI Pro subscription

AI Pro (Ghostwriter and AI Post Coach) is billed monthly or yearly and requires an active Lifetime license. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period, with no partial refund for the unused portion.

3. Refunds

Lifetime purchases are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee — contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Refund requests after that window are handled case by case.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute your license key.
  • Don't use NotesIQ to scrape or store data belonging to Substack profiles you don't operate, beyond the public Competitor Analysis comparisons the product is designed for.
  • Don't use the extension in a way that violates Substack's own terms of service.

5. AI-generated content

Ghostwriter and AI Post Coach produce drafts and suggestions, not finished, verified content. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you publish it.

6. No affiliation with Substack

NotesIQ is an independent, third-party extension. It depends on your own logged-in Substack session and on Substack's current page structure; if Substack changes its site, some features may temporarily break until we update the extension.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

NotesIQ is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, NotesIQ is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the extension.

8. Termination

We may suspend or revoke a license for violation of these terms, such as license key sharing or abuse of the AI features.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
